From 2018 to 2021, Vector-Drive achieved a major breakthrough in vehicle-level control, completing the laboratory design of its One-Box system. This platform centralizes the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), Motor Control Unit (MCU), and braking systems, greatly simplifying wiring and reducing failure rates. Multiple national patents were filed, securing key intellectual property.

Dragon-Link One-Box system integration

Key Technology: Dragon-Link One-Box System

The Dragon-Link One-Box integrates Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), Motor Control Unit (MCU), and braking systems into a single platform, greatly simplifying wiring and reducing failure rates.

The Dragon-Link One-Box differs from traditional EHB/EMB technology by integrating wheel-end sensing and braking (EWEB) with independently developed linear control modules for steering, braking, and drive, achieving fully autonomous ABS and ESP. Leveraging the E-Corner module, Vector-Drive also established domestic steer-by-wire chassis capability, breaking the global and domestic monopoly of WABCO and KNORR and enabling autonomous replacement of critical commercial vehicle control systems.

Major Achievements

  • Completed laboratory design of One-Box system
  • Integrated VCU, MCU, and braking systems
  • Filed multiple national patents
  • Established domestic steer-by-wire chassis capability
  • Broken the global monopoly of WABCO and KNORR
  • Achieved fully autonomous ABS and ESP

These achievements laid the foundation for intelligent full-vehicle integration, L4 articulated freight, and high-reliability production.
